Mat glass 300 g/m2

A composite material consists of several elements whose properties combine to form solid and stable structures.

These elements are glass fibers which constitute the reinforcement and which ensure the mechanical strength, as well as of the polyester resin which binds the fibers, distributes the forces and ensures chemical protection.

The polyester resin alone has no great mechanical strength.

The advantages of this product are many: high resistance to shocks and chemical aggressions, good resistance to UV, possibility to realize all forms of ponds without compromise (no unattractive folds).

Finally, big advantage: no risk of leaks caused by rodents and the finish is achievable in all colors.

Using a mat of 300 g / m2, it is necessary to count from 0.8 to 1.2 kg of resin to correctly impregnate 1 m² of glass fabrics (count two layers of glass mat and three layers of resin to make A laminate of a basin).

In principle, the thickness obtained with the mat 300 g / m 2 is between 0.6 and 0.9 mm per layer.

We offer glass mat 300 g / m2 in rolls of 5 or 10 m2.
