Préfilter Sieve 3 Filtreco

The Sieve 3 is a mechanical pre-filter which operates in pumping mode, which can be used in various ways.

Its application is very simple: a water pump is connected to the prefilter connection (first passing through the UV sterilizer).

Water falls through the stainless steel grate that traps dirt up to 0.3 mm.

The type of pre-filter must always be placed above the water level of the basin, and therefore the biological filter that it feeds.

Less maintenance: 1 to 2 interventions / week depending on the flow and density of fish.

Overflow system in case of clogged grille: you leave quiet.

This action has a huge impact on bacteria that need to treat less organic waste.

> Decrease in the cleaning frequency of the biological filter (brushes).

> Better biofilm development.
