SuperSieve prefilter.
The SuperSieve operates in gravity mode.
The water is conveyed by pipes 110 mm from the basin to the SuperSieve.
The amount of water entering the pre-filter is regulated by a float connected to a non-return valve.
When the water level rises in the prefilter, the flap closes a little more by means of the float, thus allowing to pass less water.
An equilibrium is thus obtained between the water which enters and that which is pumped, which maintains a constant water level under the grid, in the prefilter.
Water that falls through the stainless steel grille is cleaned of dirt larger than 300 microns.
The water can then be directed to the biological filtration by a pump that sucks up the water held underneath the grid.
Advantages
> No need to adjust the float.
> Large internal overflow.
> The level of the water below the filter element is fairly constant.
> Almost more problems of lack of air.
> Robust quality finish.
> 3 inlets and two suction connections.
> Mounting a possible immersion UV.
Applications
As a prefilter, upstream of a multi-chamber filter.
As a pre-filter, upstream of a bead filter
