FlowFriend Junior Air-Aqua

FlowFriend pumps are innovative in pumping water with low energy consumption.

The FlowFriend complies with the MEI industrial index (above 0.7) and is therefore in the "best available technology" category.

The main difference in the construction of this Junior version is the location of the engine and the electronic control: the latter is no longer attached to the pump but housed in a separate box.

The electronic control can be mounted in an easily accessible place and remotely controlled in different ways. The control box, pump and cable are fully EMC shielded.

This model does not need a cooling fan, the motor complies with the class iP67.

Via an optional 0-10V input, each FlowFriend can be controlled externally.

The great advantage of permanent magnet motors over asynchronous frequency converter motors is the high efficiency at low speeds. But they are also significantly more economical in higher mode.

Ingenious hydraulics

The hydraulic system of the FlowFriend is entirely cast 316 stainless steel.

Robust, smooth and perfectly shaped to limit internal losses.

The hydraulics largely determine the efficiency of the pump: it must be adapted to a specific type of application.

The FlowFriend Junior

Its hydraulic system is of the type of mixed flow, one optimal level of application is between 1 and 7 meters height of ascent.

Almost all high-flow pumps have a discharge height of more than 10 meters: this high available pressure consumes a lot of energy and is often useless.

Engine and sealing

The FlowFriend features a high quality EagleBurgmann shaft seal.

The engine is developed and produced by one of the largest producers of electric motors in Germany. The efficiency of this engine is, according to the regime, between 88 and 94%.
