Drum filter Inazuma Quantum 400

The Inazuma Quantum 400 drum filter thoroughly and reliably cleans your pond automatically, without the need for consumables, energy-saving, and resource-friendly.

It is suitable for ponds up to 400 m³ and Koi ponds up to 240 m³ in size.
Through a clever design, the filter can be used for both pump-operated and gravity-fed setups.

Inazuma uses food-grade, industrial-quality stainless steel V2A for the filter housing. Additionally, Inazuma drum filters come with features such as dry-run protection and safety overflow, among others, as standard equipment.

One of the most appealing aspects of an Inazuma filter is its low maintenance costs. It only requires purified pond water for the backwashing process and doesn't use consumables such as fleece. Instead, impurities are reliably removed from the system by the robust drum with 50 μ V2A stainless steel mesh fabric.

Installing your filter is extremely simple. The filter is delivered fully assembled and ready to install.

You just have to place the filter, connect it to the pipework.

Beforehand you will have chosen between a standard controller or a connected controller (optional)

because the controller is not included with the filter, you must therefore acquire the filter of your choice AND a controller:

For even more comfort and flexibility, there is the Internet-compatible WebCSA V2 control system. With the WebCSA app (Android and iOS), you can easily view and control numerous parameters from anywhere in the world with your smartphone or tablet.

The system can be customized to your needs with features such as the PowerSwitch extension, temperature sensor and level control.

The WebCSA control system can also be used with the app even without an Internet connection.

For those who do not know how a drum filter works

The filter mainly consists of a tank in which a rotating drum is housed: this drum is coated with a 50 micron (0.05 mm) filter membrane on its periphery.

The dirty water from the pond is directed into the drum and, to leave this filter, the water must pass through the filter membrane. The pond water, which is freed from particles, leaves the filter and is directed to the biological part.

As the dirty water passes through the drum, the particles settle, blocking the small holes in the membrane, which gradually clogs.

The passage of water is slowed down, which causes a difference in level between the downstream and upstream sides of the screen.

At this point, the detection system starts a drum cleaning cycle. From this point on, the drum rotates very slowly and the nozzles on the upper part (outer side of the drum) project jets of water onto the filter membrane: under the pressure of the water, the smallest bits of dirt are expelled from the filter membrane.

This dirt is collected in a gutter and directed outside the filter. The upstream/downstream water level is restored until the next cycle.

This cleaning is minimalist: it only occurs when necessary: ​​water and electricity consumption is therefore negligible.
