The Inazuma Quantum 90 Biokompakt drum filter filters your pond thoroughly, reliably and automatically without the need for consumables, thus saving energy and conserving resources.

It is suitable for ponds with a capacity of up to 90 m³ and koi ponds with a capacity of up to 50 m³.
Thanks to a clever design, the filter can be used for a pump-mode configuration or for a gravity-fed configuration.

Inazuma uses food-grade and industrial-grade V2A stainless steel for the filter housing. In addition, Inazuma drum filters are equipped with features such as dry-running protection, safety overflow and much more as standard equipment.

One of the most attractive aspects of an Inazuma filter is its low maintenance costs. It only requires purified pond water for the backwash process and does not use consumables such as filter material. Instead, impurities are efficiently removed from the system by the robust drum with 50 micron V2A stainless steel mesh.

For increased comfort and user-friendliness, the filter cover is reversibly hinged and has gas-pressure hydropneumatic dampers for easy opening and closing of the filter.

Installing your filter is extremely simple. The filter is delivered fully assembled and ready to install.

All you have to do is place the filter, connect it to the pipework.

The system can be customized to your needs with features such as the PowerSwitch extension, temperature sensor and level control.

The WebCSA control system can also be used with the app even without an internet connection.

For those who do not know how a drum filter works

The filter mainly consists of a tank in which a rotating drum is housed: this drum is coated with a 50 micron (0.05 mm) filter membrane on its periphery.

The dirty water coming from the pool is directed inside the drum and, to leave this filter, the water must pass through the filter membrane. The pool water, which is freed from particles, then passes into the biological chamber of the filter.

As the dirty water passes through the drum, the particles settle, obstructing the small holes in the membrane, which gradually clogs.

The passage of water is slowed down, which causes a difference in level between the downstream and upstream of the sieve.

At this point, the detection system starts a drum cleaning cycle. From this moment, the drum rotates very slowly and the nozzles arranged on the upper part (external side of the drum) project jets of water onto the filter membrane: under the pressure of the water, the smallest dirt is expelled from the filter membrane.

This dirt is collected in a gutter and directed outside the filter. The upstream/downstream water level is restored until the next cycle.

This cleaning is of the minimalist type: it only occurs when necessary: ​​the consumption of water and electricity is therefore negligible.
