Alparex is active against parasites.

Properties

Alparex is active against parasites such as Ichthyobodo (Costia), the Chilodonella, multifiliis Ichthyophthirius (white spot) and Trichodina.

This treatment is recognized as not being harmful to invertebrates, such as frogs, shrimp, freshwater crayfish and snails.

These animals being sensitive, we can not guarantee it.

Suitable for freshwater fish only.

Dosage

25 ml per 1000 liters, two days in a row.

Alparex should be administered in two steps:

First day: 1 ml for 40 liters of basin water, ie 25 ml per 1000 liters of water.

Second day: another 1 ml for 40 liters of basin water, ie 25 ml per 1000 liters of water.

Mix the product with water from a bucket or a watering can then distribute the mixture slowly to the surface of the basin.

Sturgeons are less supportive of Alparex, but because of their very thick skin they are less sensitive to parasites against which Alparex is active.

We therefore advise you not to treat sturgeon with koi, but to treat them separately in not administering them a half dose (twice 1 ml for 80 ml of water basin instead of two times 1 ml 40 ml).

If necessary this treatment can be repeated a third time on the third day.

Do not filter with charcoal or zeolite.

UV lamps and ozone equipment must be disconnected up to 1 week after treatment.

Precautions

Alparex colored water: to bleach you can perform weekly water changes (10-20%), a week after the last treatment: you can also use activated carbon.

Combinations

Alparex and Cytofex Pro can be used at the same time, even in full dosage.

Between the administration of Alparex, Lernex and FMC-50, leave for a minimum of 2 weeks.
