FUNCTIONING

The revolutionary combination of UV-C and copper electrolysis allows you to have a chlorine-free pool! With the Blue Lagoon Copper Ionizer UV-C, you test your pool water once every fourteen days.

All you have to do is dip the tab provided and easy to use in the water. And, if necessary, to adapt the setting of the device.

Other ionizer systems dose around 2 ppm of copper into your pool water. With the Blue Lagoon Copper Ionizer UV-C, a dose of 0.7 ppm is enough to sanitize your pool completely and safely.

This device can reduce the chlorine concentration by 50 to 80%! Max. copper: 0.7 ppm.

COPPER IONIZATION DISINFECTION MECHANISM

Copper ions with an electrical charge (Cu2+) present in the water seek out particles of opposite polarity, such as bacteria, viruses and moulds.

Positively charged copper ions form electrostatic compounds with the cell walls of negatively charged microorganisms. These compounds affect cell wall permeability and prevent nutrient uptake.

Therefore, the bacteria no longer proliferate and ultimately die. The ions remain active until they are absorbed by a microorganism. Pay attention to grounding!
