SuperBio 50 liters

Super Bio, also sold under the name New Crystal Bio (Koi Crystal) is a filtration media mainly made of glass foam. The high temperature manufacturing process (900 ° C) provides an extremely porous material that promotes bacterial growth.

Widely used in trickle filter, we use it ourselves in our establishment for 6 years, this media is one of the best materials for Bakki Shower (shower filter).

This expanded glass offers a very high colonization surface: it can be used in immersion, even if this use is not ideal, but it will not flow immediately because this material floats a few days after installation.
